Tamang Heritage Trekking is newly opened trekking in Nepal. Tamang Heritage area is located about 30 km toward the north of Kathmandu. People from this Tamang Heritage Trekking area are Buddhist. Tamang communities are generally found on higher elevations. They are mainly sheep and yak herders but grow some hardy grains and vegetables. Their daily life activities include raising livestock, agriculture and trade with Kerung in Tibet. They also go to forest to collect bamboo to make baskets and mats.

Day 01:- Syaprubesi (1460m.) by local bus 8-10 hours, Lancruiser 5-6 drive overnight hotel.

Day 02:- Trek to Gatlang (2238m.) 6 hours walk and overnight hotel.

Day 03:- Trek to Tatopani (2607m.) 6 hours walk and overnight hotel.

Day 04:- Trek to Thuman (2338m.) 5 hours walk and overnight hotel.

Day 05:- Trek to Timure (1762m.) 5 hours walk overnight hotel.

Day 06:- Trek to Briddhim (2229m.) 6 hours walk overnight hotel.

Day 07:- Trek to Syabrubesi (1460m.) 3 hours walk and overnight hotel
