Everest Panorama Trekking

Everest panorama trekking also call mini everest trekking, lthough relatively easy compared to some of other treks, takes you up high along trails to Tengboche Monastery (3867m). This is a short trek but very scenic trek offers superb view of the world’s highest peaks, including Everest, Lhotse, Thamserku, Ama Dablam and other many snowy peaks. This Trekking we fly from Kathmandu to Lukla airstrip in the Khumbu region and trek up to Namche Bazar, Tyangboche (famous for its monastery which is over thousand years old) and into the Khumjung village, a very nice settlement of Sherpas people. Everest panorama trekking is a great introduction to Sherpa country and its culture with great mountain views, a very popular destination for first time trekkers in Nepal.

 

Everest panorama trek is best suited for those who do not have enough time for longer trekking into the high mountains. The best time for Everest Panorama trekking, is beginning of March to end of May and beginning of September to end of December but is not snowing route so you can trek rest of the time too. It is designed for those who wish to experience this region without ascending to high altitude. Entry to the Khumbu is by air into the airstrip at Lukla, and from here we follow the route of the Base Camp trek to Tengboche monastery. From here we obtain breathtaking views of Everest as it rises above the Lhotse-Nuptse ridge, as well as a superb view of one of Nepal's most beautiful mountains, Thamserku, Ama Dablam, Island Peak, Lotse, Everest and Nuptse. From here we return to Lukla by a slightly different route via Khumjung.

Everest Panorama Trekking itinerary

Day 01:- Fly to Lukla (2850m.) 30 minute walk to Phakding (2610m.) 4 hrs overnight hotel.

Day 02:- Trek to Namche (3440m.) 6 hours walk overnight hotel.

Day 03:- Acclimatization in Namche and sight seeing in local village, national park museum, Everest panoramic view from syangboche and down to hotel in the after noon overnight hotel.

Day 04:- Trek to Tengboche (3867m.) 5 hours walk overnight hotel.

Day 05:- Trek to Namche (3440m.) five hours walk overnight hotel.

Day 06:- Trek to Phakding (2610m.) four to five hours walk overnight hotel.

Day 07:- Trek to Lukla (2850m.) three hours walk overnight hotel.

Day 08:- Fly to Kathmandu from Lukla 30 minute overnight hotel in Kathmandu.
